About the Association

What we do

The SOER Association supports past and currently serving members, as well as the families, of the Special Operations Engineer Regiment (SOER). This support also extends to personnel from predecessor units, including the Joint Incident Response Unit (JIRU), Chemical, Biological and Radiological Response Squadron (CBRR Sqn), and the Incident Response Regiment (IRR).

Through the Association, we provide essential support to our members and their families. This includes coordinating advocacy and welfare services, delivering wellbeing initiatives, facilitating information sharing, and preserving the Unit’s heritage. We support both current serving and veteran personnel, their families, and the families of those who have fallen.

Our Mission

The SOER Association is committed to promoting the welfare and wellbeing of its members and their families through a coordinated support network that fosters camaraderie, advocacy, wellbeing initiatives, and the delivery of welfare services.
